Science of Rowing

 

Science of Rowing looks for the latest research in rowing, strength, and sports performance and creates a monthly digest that summarizes three articles in plain-language summaries. Additionally, Science of Rowing helps coaches put this information into action with video and graphic summaries of each article. By working to bridge the gap between the scientific community and general population Science of Rowing hopes to improve the ways in which coaches and rowers approach the sport to create faster and healthier athletes.

 

 

Goal Driven Habits

 

At Goal Driven Habits we approach each client from the understanding that the human body is complex and fully integrated. Therefore, the varied aspects of training, fitness, and health cannot exist in silos. We train each client with the perspective that true health and wellness comes from an integrated and multidisciplinary approach. 

 

 

Our training methodology approaches the body as a complete system. One injury or restriction in the body will have effects up and downstream. Our goal is to assess each individual and determine the training plan that will work for their unique goals, movement, and history. This allows us to address the root causes of their compensatory patterns to increase their longevity and durability.

 

 

We focus on helping individuals who have a history of chronic pain and injury and those coming out of physical therapy. We aim to continue their pain reduction programs with the goal of eliminating it and helping our clients regain their freedom of movement and enable a prolonged and improved quality of life.
